NEW FEATURES
Sorting Process – Bag Count Implementation

A new per-bag order tracking mechanism has been introduced in the sorting process.

  • System generates a unique Bag ID when a new bag is started
  • Order count resets to zero for each new bag
  • All subsequent scans are linked to the active bag
  • Process continues until another new bag is created

This enhancement ensures accurate parcel grouping, improved traceability, and reliable per-bag reporting.

Regional Dashboard

A new Regional Dashboard has been introduced for Area Managers.

  • Displays the same tiles available in the Branch Dashboard
  • Shows combined data from all assigned branches
  • Provides a consolidated view of overall performance and operational status

This allows Area Managers to efficiently monitor multiple branches from a single dashboard.

IMPROVEMENTS
Waybill Rejection & Restoration Workflow

A controlled workflow has been introduced to manage the lifecycle of waybill requests with full audit traceability.

  • Only Pending waybill requests can be rejected
  • Rejected requests become inactive and cannot be edited
  • Rejected requests can be restored only if the waybill range is unused
  • Restored requests return to Pending status
  • Completed (Done) requests cannot be rejected
  • Requests with reused waybill ranges cannot be restored

These validations prevent duplication, range conflicts, and ensure operational consistency.

User Permission Validation & Missing Permission Fixes

User permission handling has been enhanced to ensure secure and structured access.

  • Corrected missing and misconfigured permissions
  • Enhanced role-based access control
  • Access to Regional Dashboards for authorized users
  • Pickup and Return operations
  • Branch, rider, and rider finance management
  • Reporting, audit dashboards, and order management
  • Administrative settings including city and tax configurations

This ensures improved system control, visibility, and operational transparency.

Report Generation

An Excel export option has been added to multiple modules.

  • Branch Orders
  • Branch Deposits
  • Client Invoices
  • Reports are generated in the background
  • Downloads available from the Report History section
  • On-screen view limited to 2,000 rows
  • Direct download allowed for datasets under 10,000 rows
  • Director Board approval required for larger datasets
Branch Manifest Report – Order Filtering

Return orders and waybill orders have been removed from the Branch Manifest Report.

The report now includes only valid delivery orders, improving accuracy and operational clarity.
